Laboratory planning of a new administration and training building

The Träger Doemens e.V. of the technical school for master brewers and the technical academy of brewing and beverage technology has built a new building for training and further education facilities with administration. Kai Otto Architekten were commissioned with the complete laboratory equipment of the new brewery academy building for Doemens Akademie GmbH. The new building houses a compact three-storey facility as a training and further education facility with administration. It is divided into a basement, ground floor and two upper floors. The laboratory area is located on the first and second floors of the western building. Adjacent are the training rooms and the offices of the teaching staff and administration. There are a total of 14 laboratory rooms, which are connected by a hallway. 5 rooms are security level 2 laboratories with access control.

A canteen and a show brewery are located on the ground floor. An underground car park and technical rooms are located in the basement.

The planning in all service phases of the complete laboratory equipment including equipment and media supply comes from Kai Otto Architects. The tendering and implementation of this was accompanied.
